My 2017 Resolutions

2017-graphic

I know certain resolutions are easily broken by the time February draws in but I do like setting myself goals to focus on throughout the year. Here are the ones I’ve chosen for 2017!

1  SAVE

A bit boring, I know, but I want to save some dollar in order to take on more adventures and challenges and to be able to invest in my business.

2  Progress with learning languages

I’ve been learning German for a while and have recently started learning Danish. I REALLY want to be able to get fluent in at least one other language and to be able to get by comfortably in both. It’s tricky but I’m soldiering on!

3  Finish my current MBA module work

My MBA is distance learning and the flexibility means it does get pushed to the bottom of the priority list if I’m busy with other projects. I want to finish my current module and start the next one in order to get stuck in and get a chunk of the overall course completed. It will also help so much with business ventures so I need to get on it!

4  Go somewhere new

It’s got to be on the list every year, hasn’t it?? There’s so much world and I want to see it all!

5  Be able to do a backward walkover

This year one of my resolutions was to back to gymnastics which I did, yay! The start of my fitness journey was definitely the most difficult so now I’m getting into the swing of things, I’d love to continue to improve. The backward walkover is something I used to do as a kid with ease and I feel like it’s a really important milestone.

6  Minimalise my belongings

I don’t know if I’ll ever be a full on minimalist but after my recent giant cull of belongings, I want to continue to decrease them until I am able to move/clean/live with ease. So far, I’ve loved having less ‘stuff’ so I want this to be a long standing change.

PHEW.

What do you hope to achieve in the new year?

  1. These are great goals! I am with you on trying to save more money. Nothing dull about that. That’s great that you are learning languages. I want to get more serious about learning a computer programming language.

  2. Great goals – I am all about decluttering and living a minimalist life!! My other half, though? Not so much. So it can be a challenge. Haha. Good luck, and happy new year! xx

      1. Oh I have so many! Starting a blog is one of them which I can tick of my list so far! I tend to make too many though so I am thinking of making a monthly resolution list in my bullet journal and working from there 🙂
