There’s no better way to start the day than a big old healthy smoothie! It always wakes me up and it feels good to get a shed load of nutrients so I’m ready to start work.

It’s important to mix up the recipes a bit in order to avoid getting bored so I’ve compiled my top 3 favourites for you to try!

1 The Power Smoothie

-half a banana
-1 cup kale
-1 tablespoon goji berries
-1 tablespoon hemp seeds
-2 tablespoons porridge oats
-half a teaspoon spirulina powder
-an eighth cup almonds
-1 teaspoon peanut butter
-1.5 cups almond milk
-cold water to top it up if needed

2  The Green Smoothie

-1 banana
-1 cup kale
-1 cup spinach
– half a teaspoon spirulina powder
– 1 tablespoon flax seeds
– 3 leaves of fresh mint
– 1 cup hemp milk
– topped up with cold water if needed

3  The Tropical Smoothie

-half a banana
-half cup pineapple
– a handful of blueberries
– 2 tablespoons chia seeds
– An eighth cup of almonds
– 1 cup hemp milk
– topped up with cold water if needed
